What Can I Do To Minimize Sweating In A Synthetic Fiber Wedding
Dress?
My wedding is in late summer. Although it’s usually not too hot here at that time, I know I sweat really easily in synthetic clothes. I picked a dress made of nylon taffeta because it was hard enough balancing budget and style. Would wearing a cotton layer underneath like a bustier help? Thanks very much.

I wouldn’t wear cotton, it’s going to absorb any moisture like a sponge. I’d probably wear silk undies, since silk wicks moisture away rather well. Since you know you’re more prone to sweating, maybe try the Secret Clinical strength deodorant. My daughter uses it and says it works wonders. Or, you can even ask your doctor for a prescription antiperspirant/deodorant.
Good luck!
There is this products you can buy at the pharmacy called Driclor its for people who perspire a lot, and I have been using it for a long time and I can tell you even in summer heat you won’t get a drop of sweat, I usually use it for 2 days in a row, applying at night before you sleep making sure the area is clean and dry then apply and wait till it’s dry before bed time, then you wash it off in the morning, don’t shave the are when using as it will burn.Other than that its so easy and I love it cos I don’t have to feel embarrassed with wet mark and no odour, ask your pharmacist about it if you want more information and they can help you.
