Well most weddings i’ve been to have the Mnm’s that have the name and date of the wedding ppl. it’s cute, and yummy. i enjoy them and i’m pretty sure they aren’t to pricey. Good luck, and congrats!

Make a donation to a charity in your guests’ names, then give them little cards that say “in lieu of a favor, a donation has been made in your name to X charity”. They never have to know how much you donated.

scotch mints in your wedding colors (or just white if you cant find them in your colors) wrapped in tule, tied with curling ribbon with a little tag with your names and the wedding date.
cheap, easy, everyone loves it.

I am able to get some Favors wholesale, if you let me know your budget, and the amount of guest, I am sure that I can get you some really neat favors. For Example the candle canister’s with your name and wedding date on the lid. My suggestion would be to look for wholesale, instead of retail.

individually wrapped biscotti with a ribbon tied around it and a tag attached, buy candy in bulk and wrap in tulle or small bags, make bookmarks out of cardstock in your wedding colors/theme (you can print a design or poem as well as your names and wedding date on them), buy votive candles or tealights at Wal Mart in your wedding colors and wrap in tulle

A good cheap favor that mostly everyone will enjoy (and use/consume) is to make homeade cookies and monogram them with the bride & groom’s initials with icing. Just find a simple recipe for icing, pour into a zip top bag, and cut a small hole in one corner. Instant pastry tool! You can also use cookies straight out of the package with tubes of store bought icing in different colors for a more hassle free option. Tie them up in tulle, individual bags, etc. I am doing this for my wedding and I can’t think of one person who wouldn’t like them, except for those on special diets.

maybe find some charms at your local hobby store and add to the ribbon and there you have it.
Or sachets filled with Hershey’s kisses or any candy youre fond of.

In lieu of favors we donated to a charity that had meaning to us because I find at many weddings I go to favors get left behind. Food can double as a favor and look very pretty and be enjoyed on site (helpful on a budget) I think edible favors have become more popular for this reason, or something that can be enjoyed on site like bubbles or typical party favors, your guests might get to take them home but they will be used

I know this is your big day and you are thinking about all the little details and you want everything to be absolutely perfect, BUT trust me as a bride who did not listen and wished I did when people told me “don’t worry about the favors, hardly anyone takes them and you will be left with a lot of leftovers”. Of course I didn’t listen because I wanted to have favors that no one would want to refuse. Of course, I was left with a lot of leftovers b/c no one cares about favors unless they are useful. I paid a lot of money for fancy labels and custom cookies that no one cared about. In hindsight, I should have just ordered a bunch of personalized matchbooks (something that everyone can use) and focussed my stress on more important details that didn’t require any effort.
