Is There Such A Thing As Having Too Many Wedding Favors?

I like wedding favors, especially if they’re creative. So far I have about 3 different favors that will be given out to my guests. Is that too much?

I think that your guests are going to love each and everyone of them ! What a great way for them to remember your wedding day ! You are sure to make each and everyone of your guests feel special.

    It depends.
I suggest using edibles and/or something they could use or display in their home that is personalized with your wedding information (a momento).
Some guests love favors and actually look forward to them. However, avoid having a bunch of stuff that you think are cute, but that they have no use for.

3 is not too many. I have a friend and she did the same. One set of favors for the wedding helper and VIP gurst. One set for people come to her ceremony, and the final set is for reception dinner. Actually, your idea is pretty good.
BTW, you can find many creative and unique wedding favors here http://ericasweddingfavors.com/wedding-favors.html?favors_by_theme=216
    Good Luck

No, as long as what you are giving is not junk and is relative.
I once recieved a small box that contained personalized Tictacs, a heart-shaped pad, a tiny picture frame, a cookie cutter and a candle. It was a waste of money for the bride and groom because it was all junk stuff I would never use. I kept the Tictacs and put the rest in my yard sale where it fetched a good 50 cents.
    Good luck!

Unless the favor is something that will be eaten, I “forget” to take it home. I, for one, don’t need a tea light from Doug & Judy’s 10/05/2003 wedding, or a windchime from Paul & Betty’s 03/06/2005 wedding just sitting around gathering dust.

I often find even one too many. It would depend on what they are. The only favor I’ve every actually kept and treasured was a deck of cards with a photo of the couple on the back of each card.

Of course not. We did the seating cards in frames they could take home, another favor at their seat and one they took on the way out at the end of the night. I’m sure it will be appreciated.

Yes, of course you can have too many – In fact why have them at all? They are not appreciated and not worth the trouble.

Nothing I like better than going to a wedding or somewhere, and coming home with tchochkes and keepsakes.
    For me, bring ‘em on.

I think that you are going to make your guest very happy ! You are showing them just how much you care about them ! Wish I were one of the guest !

    I’m having three favors.
I think it will give them choices, if they don’t like one favor they are sure to like another,

I think one favor is too much. I never even take them home and I’ve been to over 20 weddings.

It depends on what they are..if they relate and go together then no.
