What Are Good Songs To Put A Powerpoint Before The Wedding Ceremony
And Songs For The Reception And No Country
My fiance and I are putting a powerpoint together for our wedding and we need songs. But we do not want anymore country we have enough of them. Also songs for the reception that also isn’t country. We love country but we want a variety as well of all genre.

The Cheers Theme Song (great ending song for a slideshow)
The Friends Theme Song
Boondocks- Little Big Town
Whatta Man- Salt-n-Peppa (good for the pictures of the groom)
Girls Just Wanna Have fun (good for the pictures of the bride with friends)

This one’s for the girls- Martina McBride

Livin’ Our Love Song – Jason Michael Carroll
She’s a Wild One- Faith Hill (good for pictures of the bride when young)
BEST SONG FOR A WEDDING VIDEO: Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Michael Buble
note: If you are able to make your slideshow in a program where you can edit some verses out of songs, that would be ideal.
SONGS FOR RECEPTION:
Joan Jett & the Blackhearts – I Love Rock N Roll
You Shook Me All Night Long – AC/DC
Pour Some Sugar On Me – Def Leppard
Get this party started- PINK
Loveshack-B52
Sweet Home Alabama – Lynyrd Skynyrd
Old Time Rock and Roll – Bob Seger
OTHERS:
Love is a Beautiful Thing- Phil Vassar (while people are coming into the church, this would be a nice song to have playing.)
Just Got Started Lovin’ You- JAMES OTTO (If you want to have your first dance together be a more up-beat 2-step dance, this would be a great choice).
Take me there- Rascal Flatts (For a modern wedding, the wedding party could walk down to a song like this that has lyrics, instead of only instrumental music).
Remind me: by Royksopp
I only have eyes for you: by The Flamingos
A teenager in love: by Dion and the Belmonts
Bitter Sweet Symphony: by The Verve
You belong to me: by the Duprees
Beyond the yellow brick road: by Elton John
The lady in my life: by Michael Jackson(she should like this one for the ocassion)
these songs seem to carry a deep meaning that will add a
little meaning to the ocassion along with variety to the taste for people of all ages to enjoy.
Hope this is helpfull and gd luck with the wedding
You could do fun old songs for the powerpoint:
Fools Rush In – Elvis

Hope this helps
