How To Decorate A Bare Trellis To Shade My Guests For Outdoor Wedding Reception?

I am having my wedding reception on a balcony overlooking the sea and the overhead trellis at the restaurant is bare as the grapevine was cut down. Any suggestions on possible ways I can decorate trellis to shade my guests from the sun. Color scheme is blue and orange. Thanks

You didn’t mention how big an area you’re covering, but you could use a fabric, such as thishttp://www.baerfabrics.com/aSatinPeauLow…
Sew together panels, attach underneath the trellis at all four corners, then attach at intervals, making a billowing effect. You could then attach fake ivy or hang the paper lanterns, as mentioned above.
I would use a light colored fabric as it will reflect the sun, and still be light.
Maybe this site will give you an idea of the effecthttp://www.partysparkle.co.uk/ekmps/shop…

If you want shade, use either artificial vines, either grape, ivy or even roses would look spectacular.

I would hang beautiful paper lanterns. This is popular right now. You can see them here:http://www.crateandbarrel.com/search.asp…
