How Easy/hard Is It To Become A Wedding Dress Designer?
I am looking at a career change and since I have spent so much time looking at and designing dresses (especially wedding dresses) I was wondering how hard it would be to get into the industry?
I would plan on doing a course to help with my sewing skills etc. Any information and/or help from dress designers (or people who know dress designers) would be greatly appreciated!

You first step is good. I think it would also help if you know your textiles and cloth materials, and don’t forget your color combinations and knowledge in accessories.
goodluck
It depends how big you want to be, as a designer.
Colour knowledge and accessories isn’t all you need.
A sewing course is a good start, but it may just qualify you as a seamstress, and what you really need is a fashion design course. There are so many aspects to design that the general public do not understand, and you really need to spend time developing other skills.
