Does Anyone Know A Website That Has Colored Wedding Gowns?
i am getting married august 30th 2008 and my wedding colors are lavender and silver. i want a colored wedding gown. at first i was thinking of getting a silver satin wedding gown with a lavender sequence on it. than i was thinking of having my bridesmaids in lavender and me in silver with lavender roses as my bouquet. i don’t want a white gown. i saw this silver satin wedding gown in this bridal shop in New York City, but it didn’t have the lavender sequence on it. i thought this out and ever since i was a kid i always knew that i wanted a colored wedding gown. please any website that could help me with this would be greatly appreciated. and please no negative commits about my dress color and why i don’t want a white dress. if the dress has to be white or off white i would still need a sequence of lavender or silver in it. i would get the dress made but i don’t know if i am going to change my mind. i think i want a strapless gown or one that goes around my neck. i have so many ideas.

To be honest, I doubt you will find a silver bridal gown WITH lavender sequins. You probably will be able to find a silver bridal gown however. I know davids bridal carries a dress in silver. I think that many retailers make dresses in non-traditional colors but I doubt that many bridal stores keep them in stock. You would probably have to ask to view the catalogs in the store and check the description of the gown to see what other colors its offered in. You will likely have to be open to looking at all types of special occasion dresses other than bridal gowns.

Check places that don’t sell strictly bridal gowns like Jessica Mclintok. You will get more of the colors you are looking for. Run searches for prom dresses and bridesmaid’s gowns. Many of them are just as fancy as “wedding gowns” and will come in the colors you are looking for.
If all else fails you can always have the lavender sequins sewn onto the silver dress you loved in NYC. Easy to do yourself or a seamstress will help.

Maggie Sottero Bridal has several solid colored wedding gowns, and I know at least one is lavender.
Bonny Bridal has a few colored gowns too, but mostly white or ivory with colored accents. I know they have at least one that is white or ivory with lavender.
