You should wear what you assume you will probably wear with your wedding gown. The exact garment is not all that important… but if you are planning on a push up bra, wear that… etc. Color wont matter, but the fit will.
Also, bring a pair of shoes approximately the same height as the shoes you will wear. This will help you see how it will look on you as well as help the seamstress if she or another worker ends up measuring you for a fitting.
Wear a strapless bra and whatever you want for undies. I suggest brides wear something comfortable and easy to get in and out of – like sweats with their hair up and NO MAKE-UP. You’ll only get make-up all over the dresses.
They will usually give you a really bad long-line bra at the bridal store so if you can before you go, I would invest in a really good long-line bra and if you plan to wear any kind of shapewear like Spanx I would def. wear them to the store so you can see how the dresses will look on your wedding day. Get nude and you will have something versatile that you will use again.

I suggest a nude strapless corset and panty set if you have them. In some gowns the material may be sheer. Not sheer enough to be tacky but sheer enough to notice any underwear that isn’t skin colored.http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?Dep…
^^ That is what I used and I found it was versatile enough for all styles of dresses.
I also suggest wearing clothes that are easily removed. Sweatpants, sweatshirts, etc.
Going without make up is also good. There is nothing worse than trying on a dress you love and realizing the person before you got make up all over it.
Just wear a strapless bra and panties you’re comfortable in. The bra should be nude or white.
The first time I went to try on a gown (it was spur of the moment), I had on a black bra and panties! My mom laughed so hard. : )
